RiverWalk West Design Competition: Connecting People, Communities and Nature
The City of Calgary is pleased to announce that the first stage of the RiverWalk West Design Competition, the Request for Pre-Qualification (RFPQ), is now open and accepting applications.
Calgary’s RiverWalk pathway system connects pedestrians and cyclists through the heart of the city and to our beloved Bow River. The time has come to redevelop the next segment, creating a continuous, world-class active modes connection linking Fort Calgary to the west end of downtown. This exciting project, known as RiverWalk West, presents a unique challenge for eligible designers and engineers to develop creative solutions that complete the downtown river promenade.
