Opportunity Description:

The City of Calgary is seeking qualified architectural consulting firm to act as coordinating registered professionals to lead a team of registered professionals of record to provide architectural, building science, structural, mechanical, electrical, and civil engineering, landscape architecture and interior design consulting services for the development of Bridlewood Affordable Housing, the development includes 62 units for an estimated 8,300 sq.m multi-residential dwelling units. It includes all site works for the 8,587.82 sq. m (2.122 acres) and will include landuse redesignation process. 

The procurement process is not intended to create and will not create a formal legally binding bidding process and will instead be governed by the law applicable to direct commercial negotiations. No legal relationship or obligation regarding the procurement of any service or related goods will be created between the proponent and The City by the RFP process until the successful negotiation and execution of the Agreement for the acquisition of such services and related goods. For greater certainty and without limitation: 
(a) this RFP will not give rise to any “Contract A”-based tendering law duties or any other legal obligations arising out of any process contract or collateral contract; 
and 
(b) neither any unsuccessful proponent nor The City will have the right to make any claims (in contract, tort, or otherwise) against the other with respect to the award of a contract, failure to award a contract or failure to honour a response to this RFP.
