Project Bio: The Pocket Square for 17th Avenue is our biggest project ever. Our dream is for it to be a collaborative, citizen-driven public space on one of Calgary’s best streets. Years of volunteer effort have gone into this renovation to revamp an underutilized space that was filled with sharp rocks, gravel, and garbage. We called the new space the Pocket Square because it’s small (pocket), public (square), and creates a fresh splash of colour (pocket square) on one of Calgary’s favourite suits (17th Avenue SW).
