Join SAPL for Climate Action by Design, a special edition of our signature Design Matters lecture series celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Master of Landscape Architecture (MLA) program.
This inspiring evening will explore how design can drive meaningful climate action through research, practice, and interdisciplinary collaboration. We are pleased to welcome Jonah Susskind, Director of Climate Strategy at SWA, as our featured international guest. Jonah leads the implementation of SWA's Climate Action Plan, advancing decarbonization efforts across the firm's global portfolio while integrating climate-positive strategies into design practice. His work spans wildfire risk mitigation, coastal resilience, and climate adaptation, bridging applied research and professional practice. Prior to joining SWA, Jonah directed research at MIT's Leventhal Center for Advanced Urbanism and has held research and teaching appointments at both MIT and the Harvard Graduate School of Design. He holds a Master of Landscape Architecture from Harvard University, where his thesis received an ASLA Honor Award. REGISTER HERE |
