OVERVIEW:

The City of Moncton requires the services of a Professional Landscape
Architect to complete the planning, design, and project management services
for a new community park located at 39 Salengro Crescent, inclusive of a
neighborhood walking trail AND an existing community park located at 40
Pleasant Street.

Bidders may submit a bid price for ONE (1) OR MORE of the project locations
specified above. Bidders are not required to submit a bid for both project
locations in order for their bid response to be considered by the City.

Based on community consultations and from the City of Moncton's Recreation
Master Plan, a number of "desirable" items have been identified in each of
the parks. The project budget established for the Salengro Crescent project
budget specified herein is in the range of four hundred thousand dollars
($400,000) to four hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($450,000). The
Pleasant Street project budget specified herein is in the range of two
hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) to two hundred and fifty thousand
dollars ($250,000).

The project budget established for each location is INCLUSIVE of the
following items:

- Construction Costs
- 10% Project Contingency Allowance
- Harmonized Sales Tax (H.S.T.) @ 15%
- Consultant fees are excluded from this amount


ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

Vendors considered eligible to bid shall have been in business not less
than two (2) years, have a valid and current license to practice landscape
architecture in the Province of New Brunswick, have a minimum of five (5)
years' experience as a practicing Landscape Architect, are members in good
standing of the Atlantic Provinces Association of Landscape Architects
(APALA) and/or Canadian Society of Landscape Architects (CSLA), are
reputable, can provide a minimum of three (3) commercial references, and
have sufficient staff and equipment to respond to the City's needs. The
City shall make the final determination as to the acceptability of the
Bidders.

This is a tender notice only. In order to submit a bid, you must obtain
official tender documents from the New Brunswick Opportunities Network,
another authorized tendering service or as indicated in the tender notice.
