At Park, we believe a world-class landscape starts from the ground up—and that includes our team. We provide a fertile space where you can plant your ambitions and watch them bloom. Our culture is built on a simple philosophy: When we invest in you, you invest in us.
NURTURE: A supportive environment built on safety, integrity, and trust. We provide the tools you need to succeed without the burnout.
GROW: We don’t leave your career to chance. If you have the ambition, we provide the ladder through dedicated training and career tracking.
THRIVE: This is where your "Can-Do" attitude meets empowerment. We trust our experts and give you the autonomy to tackle challenges head-on.
While we provide the environment, we need you to provide the expertise. In this role, you will be the primary architect of protecting, growing, and optimizing the company’s existing grounds maintenance portfolio through proactive account management, contract renewals, and service expansion. This is a field-based role requiring regular site visits, strong operational awareness, and direct client engagement.
Your Daily Impact:
Nurture Client Relationships: Maintain a highly visible presence within your assigned portfolio through regular site visits, property inspections, and proactive communication to ensure peak client satisfaction.
Drive Portfolio Growth & Optimization: Lead contract renewal strategies and negotiations. Actively identify and close enhancement, upgrade, irrigation, and snow management opportunities while reviewing legacy contracts to optimize profitability.
Support Strategic Business Development: Pursue qualified new business through referrals and networking. Conduct site assessments, develop accurate scopes of work, and present winning proposals for new maintenance opportunities.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner closely with Division Managers, Field Supervisors, and Operations teams to ensure client expectations are clearly communicated and consistently achieved, acting as the ultimate voice of the client.
*Seasonal Transition (Winter Services): From November through April, Park Landscaping transitions its primary operations to comprehensive snow and ice management. During this period, all roles adapt to support our winter service commitments. Due to the unpredictable nature of Alberta weather, this position requires a flexible schedule, including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays during significant snow events to ensure the safety of our clients’ properties.
To truly thrive in this role, you’ll need a solid foundation of skills and the right mindset:
Knowledge: Deep understanding of grounds maintenance or property services, commercial contract administration, and health and safety regulations within the landscaping industry. Post-secondary education or certifications in Business, Sales, Landscaping, or Horticulture are highly valued assets.
Skills: Strong commercial acumen, contract negotiation, and accurate cost estimation. Proficiency with Google Workspace and experience using CRM, ERP, or service management software is required (experience with Aspire Landscape Software is a huge plus!).
Abilities: A strong systems-thinking mindset with the ability to manage multiple accounts and tight proposal deadlines seamlessly. Physically, you must be comfortable walking outdoor job sites for estimating purposes in varying weather conditions typical of Alberta's climate. A valid driver’s license is required for regular travel.
