Position Overview

We are seeking an intermediate landscape architect / designer to join our team in our Calgary office. The candidate will have 3-7 years of professional experience in a landscape architecture firm / urban design setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage projects through all phases of design, from conceptual to detailed design, construction documentation and construction administration.
  • Prepare landscape concept plans and detailed design packages.
  • Assist Principal Landscape Architect with daily tasks and project coordination.
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast passed environment when required. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture.
  • 3-7 years experience in landscape architecture.
  • Demonstrate a high proficiency in design software such as Autocad, Sketch up, Adobe Creative Suites, and 3D rendering software.
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively liaise with clients and consultants.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong understanding of landscape construction methods and materials.
  • Demonstrate understanding of construction document preparation.
  • A valid driver’s license.
