We are a collaborated team of professional that does a wide variety of public and private sector projects. We are currently looking for a Landscape Architectural Technologist and Landscape Architect or Landscape Designer to join our growing Calgary based team.
Landscape Architectural Technologist
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare technical working drawings for all stages of project delivery
- Develop high quality graphics including realistic 3D architectural renderings
- Oversee construction projects, including site observation and coordination
- Prepare cost estimates and take offs from conceptual and working drawings
- Liaise with suppliers, contractors and team members
- Facilitate administrative tasks to support project planning, approvals, timelines and advancement
Your Qualifications
- Diploma in Landscape Architectural Technology or a degree in a directly related field
- Relevant work experience in landscape architecture, design or construction
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Enscape & SketchUp
- Proficient with Microsoft Office & Adobe Photoshop
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong and lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Valid driver’s license
Landscape Architect or Landscape Designer
Key Responsibilities
- Actively contribute to creating innovative and sustainable landscape design solutions, preparing construction drawings, managing project timelines & budgets, for a wide variety of projects
- Conduct site visits and coordinate with clients and contractors to ensure project success
- Act as a key point of contact for clients; participating in client meetings and presentations, project progress, design options, and feedback
- Contribute to a collaborative work environment and offer thoughtful leadership
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor or master’s in landscape architecture or closely related field
- Progressive experience in Landscape Architecture in either the public or private sector
- Registration as a Professional Landscape Architect with AALA or eligible to pursue registration
- Strong Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office is essential
- Ability to manage multiple project priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines consistently
- Growth mentality with the ability to cultivate strong client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service delivery
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with the proposal process is an asset
- Knowledge of local plant material
- Technical writing is an asset
- Valid Driver's License
