Question and Answers

After graduation, what was the first position you had? How did that shape where you are now as a Landscape Architectural Technologist?

During the summer between my 2 years at NAIT I worked for a small landscape construction company as a landscape designer. Upon graduation I continued on with that company and took on a project coordinator role alongside landscape designs. The role really opened my eyes to the industry. I was able to see how things were made after I put them on paper. As a project coordinator I was able to take a customer facing role and I really enjoyed seeing the projects through from start to closeout.
