Join the City of Calgary's HealthYYC Initiative for a one day crash course in Health Impact Assessment (HIA) and learn how to use this tool to help support a healthy built environment. This workshop will cover the basics of an HIA, and through engaging with a variety of stakeholders that play an important part role in the built environment, discover new skills and ideas on how to integrate health impacts into your decision-making process.
Session will be led by Habitat Health Impact Consulting.
Seats are limited to encourage a mix of participants from different areas of practice or interest.
Payment of $40 to be made at the door in the form of cash or cheque. No shows will result in a charge of $200 which is the actual cost for each seat. If you are unable to attend please contact the event organizer and if there is a person on the waiting list that is able to take your ticket you will not be charged the $200.
