Registration is open for Walk21 Calgary!
From September 19-22 2017, Walk21 Calgary will examine how walking fosters healthy and vibrant communities, and can encourage cities to become more resilient and sustainable in the wake of rapid urban growth.
Organizations have the opportunity to buy packages of transferable passes for their employees (groups of 5 or more). If your organization or association is interested, please contact email@example.com for details.
Discounted rates for students, seniors, and NGOs are also still available.
We welcome citizens, academics, urban planners, health care professionals, and community leaders to join us to discuss and design our urban walkable futures.
The Walk21 Calgary conference program features keynote and plenary sessions, symposia, breakout presentations and walkshops in downtown and suburban Calgary. Delegates will experience Calgary’s emerging walkability, and be exposed to new ideas about how walking can connect people and communities. We will reflect on the lessons of the past, create new knowledge and examine social dynamics to build momentum for the new walking city.
