Bid Information
Project Description: | The Work to be undertaken under the Contract involves: Concrete piles and grade beams, steel fabrication, finishing and onsite assembly, lighting with power connection, decorative paving for Traffic Circle. The successful Bidder shall complete the project no later than June 30, 2019 |
Pre-Bid Meeting: | Bidders are required to attend a mandatory pre-bid site meeting to be held on:July 3rd, 2018 at 1.30 p.m. at 28 Airport Road (former air traffic control tower). Bids will not be accepted from those not in attendance. |
Bid Security: | Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Cheque in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total Tender price. The successful bidder will be required furnish a Performance Bond equal to fifty percent (50%) of the Contract Sum. |
Additional Requirements: | The City shall reject a Bid submitted by a Bidder who has not obtained a C.O.R. or S.E.C.O.R appropriate to their industry issued by the Alberta Construction Safety Association or other industry association. |
