Our team in the Calgary office is seeking a Senior Landscape Architect to combine their creativity and aesthetic knowledge to produce exceptional landscape design solutions.  You will develop and manage urban design solutions for projects at a variety of scales, review design requirements, offer recommendations and create and coordinate drawings, figures and reports to support projects. You will direct members of the design team to develop design solutions appropriate to the context, budget and aesthetic requirements of Landscape projects.


Duties and Responsibilities:

As a Senior Landscape Architect you will:

  • Apply and integrate technical detailing and material technologies in order to develop a landscape design solution into a concise set of construction documents
  • Produce efficient and effective landscape design solutions through analysis and understanding of design intent
  • Oversees workloads and provide staff leadership throughout all phases of the project to ensure that work is done accurately, efficiently and complies with policies, procedures and standards, as well as best working practices
  • Designs solutions appropriate to context, budget and technical requirements
  • Collaborates with other professional disciplines to coordinate the design through all phases of the project
  • Provides coaching and mentoring to team members by sharing knowledge and expertise



  • Have successfully completed related post-secondary education in Landscape Architecture
  • Is proficient in Architectural software skills (i.e. AutoCAD, Revit)
  • Have a minimum 10 years of experience in urban design and landscape architecture.
  • Is familiar with Municipal bylaws and development process.
  • Prior experience in project delivery, project management, and client management is required
  • Possess superior time management and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrate an ability to coordinate with other team members and to collaborate with other professional disciplines
  • Registration with a relevant professional landscape architectural association is an asset
