If you are interested in this broad range of opportunities and project diversity, we are seeking a driven and dedicated Intermediate Landscape Architect to join our office. 




The successful candidate will become an integral part of our firm and be able to take a project from concept through to completion.  Working both independently and as part of a close-knit project team, you will be responsible for contributing to all facets of project development including: pre-design assessments, team/client meetings, conceptual design and development; graphic renderings, detail design, budget estimating, project specifications, tender administration, and project management. The ideal candidate will also be comfortable and conversant with contractor negotiations and construction supervision, whether those projects be located in Calgary or across Western Canada.




The ideal candidate would bring:

  • A Bachelor or Masters Degree in Landscape Architecture (or equivalent).
  • A minimum of five years of related professional experience.
  • Current membership in, or be eligible for membership with the Alberta Association of Landscape Architects (AALA).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Microsoft Office and other related computer programs. (Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, 3D Max, Sketchup and Revit is considered an asset).
  • Demonstrated experience with landscape construction practices, project management, contractor coordination and construction supervision.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Detailed understanding of landscape architectural principles and including Land Development regulations and Municipal approval processes.
  • Effective time-management and consistency in meeting performance targets.
  • Valid Alberta Class 5 driver's licence and access to a vehicle. (Some travel will be required as part of this position).
