The Canadian Society of Landscape Architects
The Canadian Society of Landscape Architects (CSLA) is the national professional association that represents landscape architects in Canada. The mandate of the CSLA is to represent our members nationally and internationally, to coordinate items of common interest, and to inform and educate members in the interest of the profession and the public it serves.
CSLA is a member of the International Federation of Landscape Architects (IFLA), a professional organization that represents landscape architects internationally.
CSLA Board of Governors
The Board of Governors is responsible for carrying out the mandate of the CSLA. This board includes a President, President-elect, an Executive Director and one representative from each of the component associations.
Component Associations
CSLA is a federation of component associations. The component associations include: Alberta Association of Landscape Architects (AALA), L’Association des Architectes Paysagistes du Québec (AAPQ), Atlantic Provinces Association of Landscape Architects (APALA), British Columbia Society of Landscape Architects (BCSLA), Manitoba Association of Landscape Architects (MALA), Newfoundland & Labrador Association of Landscape Architects (NLALA), Northwest Territories Association of Landscape Architects (NWTALA), Nunavut Association of Landscape Architects (NUALA), Ontario Association of Landscape Architects (OALA), and the Saskatchewan Association of Landscape Architects (SALA).
