Jun 16, 2009, Deadline – Call for Submissions: 6th Paysages Éphémères

Paysages Éphémères is an urban art intervention event during which time a route of ephemeral landscape interventions will be created. These interventions will serve to raise public awareness of the variety of ways in which the city as a lived space can be transformed. By transforming the city into a stage for creation, artists and designers will have a multitude of opportunities for reflection and artistic expression related to the urban space.

Aug 13-15, 2009, 75th Anniversary CSLA Congress 2009

Sheraton Centre Hotel, Toronto, Ontario

Perspectives: 360 on 75

Time to Register. Our host Component organization, the Ontario Association of Landscape Architects (OALA) has put together a solid program (and sponsorship opportunities)

The Canadian Society of Landscape Architects/Association des architectes paysagistes du Canada became a formal organization in 1934 and for the past three quarters of a century the society has been advancing the art, science and business of landscape architecture. In August, 2009 the CSLA/AAPC invites you to join us at the Sheraton Centre in Toronto, Ontario to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the founding of the profession of landscape architecture in Canada.

Our event promises to be a memorable one as we look at our profession from a three hundred and sixty degree perspective. The historical roots, the current state of the profession and an exploration of our future will all be discussed through a series of workshops, sessions, panel discussions and tours. Experts from across the country together with thought provoking keynote speakers will challenge and stimulate our understanding of landscape architecture.
